Song-Writing course
No musical ability or experience is required to enjoy this fantastic opportunity to work with a professional song writer/music producer to write and record an original song. The participants will be guided through the process from conception, creating a melody, writing lyrics, understanding song structure, to finally recording a song. The participants will contribute remotely via Zoom and other platforms (WhatsApp, Google Docs etc) and will be encouraged to communicate and work together to create their very own musical masterpiece. Our experienced tutor will get the best from each participant whether that be with lyric writing, tapping-out a beat or singing the melody. Our music producer will spend additional time, away from the group, within his fully equipped music studio to engineer a pleasing, radio-ready song. Participants are always amazed at how brilliant they can sound and how great their songs are when finished. Please click on the links below to listen to the latest songs recorded in similar sessions.
7-week course. 6 x 2-hour sessions, plus ‘show and tell’ session on completion of project. 4 participants per group.
Price £450 per person.
Price includes all extra studio time/production and engineering costs necessary to produce finished song. Finished project will be delivered digitally along with lyrics and credits as appropriate.
Create a Jingle
A taster version of our longer song-writing course. No musical ability or experience is required to enjoy this opportunity to work with a professional song writer/music producer to write and record an original jingle of the sort that could be used in a promotion or advert. The participants will be guided through the process from conception, creating a melody, writing, and then to finally recording a jaunty jingle. Our experienced tutor will get the best from each participant whether that be with lyric writing, tapping-out a beat or singing the melody. The participants will contribute remotely via Zoom and other platforms (WhatsApp, Google Docs etc) and will be encouraged to communicate and work together to create their very own catchy little ditty. Our music producer will spend additional time away from the group, within his fully equipped music studio to engineer a pleasing, radio-ready jingle. Participants are always amazed at how brilliant they can sound and how great their ideas are when finished.
3-week course. 3 x 2-hour sessions, plus ‘show and tell’ session on completion of project. 4 participants per group.
