Creating Well Beings
Zen Stitching
45 minutes per week of peaceful bliss.
"Sashiko" is the ancient Japanese art of decorative stitching.Â
Originally used to strengthen, re-use and recycle worn out clothing, nowadays Sashiko is appreciated for its art and cultural significance. Each week participants will learn a new stitch, gradually building up to more complicated, decorative designs. Sashiko creates works of art within clothing and has its philosophy firmly rooted in recycling.
